Researchers Oisín O’Gorman, Ashkan Samali, and Feargal Brown, from Castleknock College, are working on a project to build better tools for detecting AI deepfakes and online disinformation. To deepen their understanding of the topic, they counted on EDMO’s expertise.

Their project has since won the Engineers Ireland STEPS Award. Now, to take it further, they need more human input.
