EDMO Ireland Policy Lead, Kirsty Park, alongside Stephan Mündges from the GADMO hub presented results from the first CoP Monitor report to the European Regulators Group for Audiovisual Media Services (ERGA) Subgroup on Countering disinformation and strengthening democracy in the digital environment.

The CoP Monitor report is based on an international collaboration of 9 academics who conducted a systematic analysis of all information provided by Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok and X (formerly Twitter), in the first self-reports submitted under the Strengthened Code of Practice on Disinformation.

ERGA is a member of the Permanent Task-force of the Code of Practice on Disinformation and supports the European Commission in the monitoring activities related to the implementation of the Code.
