As European fact-checkers focus attention on the war in Ukraine, EDMO has created an archive for fact-checked disinformation detected in the EU.
The archive will be updated periodically with fact-checks conducted by EDMO’s fact-checking network. Fact-checks can be filtered by date, keyword, or EU member state. It includes fact-checks by TheJournal FactCheck, a partner of the Ireland EDMO Hub.
EDMO also established a taskforce to understand disinformation trends in the war in Ukraine. Prof. Kalina Bontcheva (University of Sheffield, EDMO Ireland Hub) is a member of the taskforce. The taskforce members will collaborate with the national and regional EDMO hubs , with the small-scale online media projects and with relevant actors across Europe.
