Debunked: Doctor who promoted unproven Covid drugs isn’t on trial for ‘questioning’ authorities

A claim that a doctor is on trial merely for ‘questioning’ Covid authorities is misleading. Extensive clinical trials found that ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine were ineffective against Covid-19, with hydroxychloroquine associated with worse outcomes in hospitalised patients, and there is no evidence these drugs improved survival or recovery.
