Organised by Barry Cannon, the event brought together different stakeholders to examine the influence of the far-right and responses. The keynote was delivered by Aaron Winter who spoke about “Liberalism\u2019s Shadow\u201d, which investigates how extremist discourse has affected racialised minorities, asylum seekers, refugees, LGBTQI+, women\u2019s rights and working class communities during the 2024\/25 electoral cycle in Ireland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
