The researcher will be based in DCU&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/fujomedia.eu\/fujo-hiring-post-doctoral-researcher-in-media-information-literacy\/\">Institute for Future Media, Democracy and Society <\/a>(DCU FuJo) He\/she will undertake research on media\/information literacy needs in relation to disinformation and develop media\/information literacy resources in collaboration with project partners and stakeholders. The researcher will also liaise with European partners within EDMO to share insights and resources on media\/information literacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must have a PhD in communications or a related field. In addition, it is desirable that the candidate has:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>research experience in media\/information literacy;<\/li><li>knowledge of the media\/information literacy environment in Ireland and the EU;<\/li><li>experience of collaborating with multidisciplinary and non-academic stakeholders inEuropean projects;<\/li><li>excellent communication and organisational skills; and<\/li><li>experience of grant writing.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The contract will run for 21-months at level 1 on the IUA Postdoctoral Researcher Salary Scale (\u20ac39,132 \u2013 \u20ac43,910) and the closing date for applications is the 4th of March 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further details about the role and the application form can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dcu.ie\/hr\/vacancies-current-vacancies-external-applicants\">DCU vacancies<\/a>.
